The Maier Museum of Art
at Randolph College

In my work as an artist, I have been particularly fascinated with the extremes of chiaroscuro, and how lights and darks can be used to heighten my art in my areas of interest such as religion, portraiture, mythology, and the supernatural, with techniques like printmaking, painting, and drawing. In my gallery, one will find many depictions of sacred spaces and scenes of religious nature that are illuminated by their contrasts to extreme shadows. I have learned much from art history and love to bring back old conventions and homages to the architecture and artistic conventions of the times before us to combine a reverence for the past with a distortion for the modern era.
