Image Reproduction Requests
Unauthorized reproduction or transmission of images in the Maier Museum of Art at Randolph College collection is prohibited. Image reproduction fees may apply, please refer to our Fee Schedule for details. For questions regarding image reproductions, please email museum@randolphcollege.edu

Program/Event Partnerships
Due the space constraints of the facility, the small size of the Maier staff, and concerns about the safety of the art housed here, the Maier is not available for private use or rental by groups outside the College community. However, the Maier is willing to host partnership programs or events, at the discretion of the Maier’s director. Requested programs or events must meet both of the following two requirements in order to be considered by the Maier director:
- Program/event topic or theme must directly relate to the Maier’s mission, collection of American art, special exhibition(s), and/or educational programming. (Programs/events connected with Randolph College programs/departments will also be considered).
- Program/event must appeal to and include the RC community, Maier constituents, and/or the general public. Private events that exclude any or all of these groups will not be considered.
Appraisal & Evaluation Policy
The Maier Museum of Art at Randolph College does not provide appraisals, authentication, or other evaluations for objects or works of art.
- Please do not bring your artwork or object(s) to the museum. Artwork or objects that are not part of the Randolph College collection are not permitted on the premises without legal documentation (i.e. a loan agreement signed by both parties) due to liability issues.
- In their capacity as Randolph College employees, Maier Museum of Art staff are not permitted to authenticate or provide statements/opinions regarding artwork or objects that are not part of the College’s collection or on loan to the College.
There are several resources which you may employ to locate qualified art conservators, appraisers, etc. to evaluate your artwork or object(s).
