An Evening with Africana Scholar and Filmmaker Ndirangu Wachanga, PhD.

Join us for this special event featuring a discussion with Ndirangu Wachanga, PhD and the screening of his film, Carnival of Stars: A Song for Sonia Sanchez (runtime:58 minutes). Refreshments will be served. Free. Register for the event here.

Ndirangu Wachanga, PhD. is a Professor of media studies and information science at the University of Wisconsin. Wachanga’s work is about memory. By examining biographies of African intellectuals, his projects are an invitation to resist the urge of forgetting.
