How can we use our creative energy to deal with negative thoughts and difficult experiences? In this workshop, Jennifer Bondurant, LPC, Director of Randolph College’s Counseling Center, will discuss the science behind negative thinking and share how our biology can be transformed when we allow ourselves to practice and embrace positive thinking. Inspired by two works from the Maier Museum’s 112th Annual Exhibition in which the artists have physically transformed hateful words and ideas into art, we will create simple, mixed-media works to provide an opportunity to experience the healing power of transformation. No art experience is needed. Open to all ages 16+. Free but registration is required.
