Randolph College and members of both Hillside and Lynchburg Garden Clubs have collaborated to showcase a must-see exhibition of floral arrangements interpreting four selections from the world-class art collection at the Maier Museum of Art at Randolph College. The museum’s strengths lie in American Impressionism and in the early 20th-century Realism. Artists of the Randolph permanent collection include Arthur B. Davies, Edward Hopper, Jacob Lawrence, Georgia O’Keeffe, Robert Rauschenberg, Ben Shahn, and John Sloan among others. Docents will be present in the galleries throughout the day.
*For Randolph College, a shuttle will run a loop throughout the day with stops at the Maier Museum, Dorothy Crandall Bliss Botanic Garden and the parking lot behind Rivermont Presbyterian Church, 2424 Rivermont Avenue.
