High School Workshop – Bookmaking: Books That Pop!

Artist Jill Jensen will demonstrate several bookmaking formats that have 3D elements, including the Turkish Map Fold, concertina box book, and the origami three square fold book. Craftivism Workshop with Kat Owens

Randolph College - Hampson Commons Student Center in Main Hall 2500 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg

Kat Owens uses plastic film debris to create life-sized portrait collages of animals harmed by marine plastic pollution. Drop by between 2 pm - 4 pm to learn about Owens’ research and activist work and contribute to the creation of a large-scale mixed-media collage by hand-sewing plastic to canvas.
