Book Making Bonanza: Paper Engineered Books

Join Lipscomb Library and Maier Museum staff, volunteers, and student club FRAME members at Randolph College’s Lipscomb Library (north wing) to:
- Create a unique one-page book to add to the Maier’s 112th Annual Exhibition, Back to Front: Artists’ Books by Women
- Make paper-engineered books inspired by the Annual Exhibition
- Contribute to a collaborative mixed media accordion book that celebrates what we love about banned books
The Lipscomb Library will also have an exhibition of BANNED BOOKS and an exhibition of BOOKS AS ART on display from their collection on view October 3 through December 15, 2023, in the north wing of the library.
Randolph College’s interdisciplinary museum and heritage studies program inspired this collaboration between Lipscomb Library and the Maier Museum of Art in response to the museum’s 112th Annual Exhibition, Back to Front: Artists’ Books by Women.
No art skills needed. All supplies provided.
