Craftivism Workshop with Kat Owens

Kat Owens uses plastic film debris to create life-sized portrait collages of animals harmed by marine plastic pollution. Drop by between 2 pm – 4 pm to learn about Owens’ research and activist work and contribute to the creation of a large-scale mixed-media collage by hand-sewing plastic to canvas. No experience needed. All supplies provided. This program is held in collaboration with the environmental science and studies and marine science programs.

NOTE: This event is located in the Randolph College Hampson Commons Student Center. Use Main Hall entrance and walk straight ahead to the Hampson Commons Student Center. FREE and open to the public.
