Kat Owens uses plastic film debris to create life-sized portrait collages of animals harmed by marine plastic pollution. Drop by between 2 pm – 4 pm to learn about Owens’ research and activist work and contribute to the creation of a large-scale mixed-media collage by hand-sewing plastic to canvas. No experience needed. All supplies provided. This program is held in collaboration with the environmental science and studies and marine science programs.
